l  School Introduction    

Located in Kaohsiung metropolitan area, Yuh-Ing Junior College of Health Care & Management(YIJC), formerly Yuh-Ing Vocational Nursing School specializes in cultivating nursing and health care professionals and has nurtured tens of thousands of elites in related areas. Accredited as a Junior College by Ministry of Education in 2003, YIJC has expanded new faculty and teaching facilities and become the first junior college in Taiwan sending excellent students to the long-term or chronic care facilities in Japan for practical training. Coping with the needs of aging society and the trends of health cosmetology, Cosmetic Applications and Management Department and Senior Citizen Service Management Department were established in 2006. With 50 years of school history, YIJC has great achievements not only in exceeding the national average rate at which our nursing graduates passing the RN license examination, but in achieving a first-tier ranking, 2009 Junior College Evaluation in the aspects of Administrations, Cosmetic Applications and Management Department, as well as Senior Citizen Service Management Department.

l  Student-Faculty Ratio

     To improve the quality of faculty and instruction, YIJC continuously hire faculty with doctorates or practical professional experiences and certificates. The current average student-faculty ratio is 21.1. To improve service quality and efficiency, we increase the number of staff simultaneously in accord with the increasing number of students.

2.         In cooperation with doctors and experts from prestigious hospitals and medical institutions in southern Taiwan, our instruction combines theories and practice,  providing students with cutting-edge professional skills and knowledge.

     YIJC promotes industry-academy cooperation; meanwhile, we enhance health promotion projects with nearby communities and actively cooperate with medical institutions. By integrating student practical training and industry-academy cooperation, we aim to create a win-win situation for both sides and consequently help our students successfully enter job markets.
